Mented Home: days to Prelims, a 12-day streak, and a revision due today
What it does

Preparation you can see is preparation you can fix

Mented keeps track of the work you do and plans the next step around your own strategy. It isn't a video course or a test series. It is where your preparation lives.

The whole syllabus, one subtopic at a time

Every paper of Prelims and Mains, and all 26 optional subjects, broken into 1,375 study-sized subtopics. Mark each one not started, in progress, studied or revised, and see which paper is falling behind.

A study timer that keeps score

Pick the paper and subtopic, start the timer and study. Mented builds the picture from there:

  • Daily, weekly and monthly study time
  • A streak for days you studied, and one for days you hit your target
  • Your longest session and best day, kept as records
  • A reminder at the hour you choose, skipped once you've hit your target
The Mented study timer, 47 minutes into a session on Fundamental Rights

Revision that comes back to you

Mark a subtopic studied and it returns for revision after 2, 7, 21, 45 and 90 days. Say whether it stuck or felt shaky, and the schedule adjusts, so what you read in June is still there in December.

Revisions due in Mented, with Study, Shaky and Got it on each

A week plan that fills itself

Revisions due, unfinished topics, then new ones, in the Prelims : Mains : optional split you choose.

Previous-year questions

Practise UPSC's past Prelims questions by topic or as a full paper, scored with UPSC's own negative marking.

Two countdowns

Prelims and Mains each get their own countdown and pace, judged against their own syllabus.

Study as a group

Start a group or join a friend's with a code, pick a topic to study together and see who has studied today.

Points, not just hours

Earn points for study time, your daily target, topics and tasks, capped each day so steady work wins. The leaderboard is opt-in.

Daily tasks that carry over

Plan the day's tasks, and whatever you don't finish moves to tomorrow instead of disappearing.

How it works

Set up once, then just study

  1. Choose your exam year

Mented counts down to Prelims and Mains and works out the pace you need.

  2. Track as you study

Run the timer and tick off subtopics. Your week plan and revisions follow from what you've done.

  3. Ask a mentor when you're stuck

Book a short session for a strategy question, or send an answer to get it back marked.

Mentors

One-to-one help from people who have been through it

Answer five short questions and Mented ranks every approved mentor by how well they fit you: your stage, your papers, the kind of help you want and the language you're comfortable in.
